Our Massaman is seasoned using gluten free soy and fresh palm sugar straight from the markets of Bangkok. We love using our Massaman to make vegan fruit and vegetable curries as they pair wonderfully with the large amounts of aromats and spices within the paste. Equally as good paired with braised beef shin or game.

We hand make all of our premium, fresh curry pastes every week at our restaurant, Farang. All our pastes are chilled and are shipped with ice packs. The reason we don't pasteurise our pastes is that the process changes the flavour profile and causes discolouration. We want the paste to arrive with you in exactly the same state it left our mortar and pestle in our kitchen.

INGREDIENTS

(Allergens bold/italic/underlined) Dry red chilli, Thai shallot, peeled garlic, young lemongrass, young galangal, coriander root,roasted peanuts, cloves, makrut lime zest, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, mace, whole nutmeg, Thai cardamom, cassia bark, salt, palm sugar, gluten free soy sauce

DIRECTIONS

Please note that these directions are for a single 100g pack. For multiple packs, multiply the ingredients weights by the number of 100g packs you are using. For example, if you’re cooking for 6 people, use 3 packs and multiply the ingredients weights by 3, (so 300g meat/fish becomes 900g meat fish etc).

Serves 2

Heat and stir the paste in a saucepan for 2 minutes in hot oil. Add 300g roasted fruit/potatoes (or meat/fish), 300g of vegetables and 400ml of coconut milk. Simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with rice.
